Baltimore Street Art Evolution-Greenmount Avenue

Hey Kiddos! Before I get into it, I have to say that I am amazed that yesterday, this very blog had 107 views! I can’t for the life of me figure out why.  I haven’t blogged since Art Donovan died last week, but my home page had 56 hits and of course that lead to more views.  Who knows? Maybe some local publication is looking for fun blogs to write about?

Anyway…a few weeks ago I wrote about visiting Greenmount Cemetery to check out Betsy Patterson Bonaparte’s and John Wilkes Booth’s graves.  Going back a couple of months before that I posted a photo of a painting of a giant head on Howard st. that was duplicated near Greenmount Cemetery.  Here’s a reminder!ImageOkay, so dig this..this giant head has been touched up a bit.  Let’s take a gander shall we?

Yeah!! Check that out!  So much color added!  Flowers, and what about that sweet lion’s head in the upper part of the mural?!  I love it!  I want you to love it, too!

About scottcarberry

I'm one nifty dude who is fascinated by his hometown; Baltimore, MD. It is persistently beautiful and ugly and I wish to live nowhere else ever again.
