Baltimore Teens to be honored for Red Cross fundraising efforts

Teens to be honored for Red Cross fundraising efforts.

In recent weeks, the news involving Baltimore’s young people has been tragic.  Most notably the beating of a transgendered person in a McDonald’s by 3 angry and misguided teenage girls and the shooting death of a 12 year old who was simply watching the NBA playoffs with some friends, sitting on a porch in the Coldstream Montebello neighborhood.  The 12 year old boy and his friends were good kids who were completely unconnected to the more nefarious elements afoot in our society.  They weren’t in the drug game and no one knows why these boys were targeted.  So I post to you, something good.  Something good and meaningful that some of Baltimore’s young people are doing.

About scottcarberry

I'm one nifty dude who is fascinated by his hometown; Baltimore, MD. It is persistently beautiful and ugly and I wish to live nowhere else ever again.
